AlterCLU, Chairman Sy Alter has been in the life insurance business since 1973. Specializing in meeting the insurance needs of families, doctors, lawyers, high net worth individuals and businesses, Sy has a solid track record in insurance and estate planning, buy/sell insurance, deferred compensation and corporate benefits. Sy’s primary goal has always been to provide objective, responsive and professional service. In addition, he has developed a high level of expertise in providing life coverage to individuals with health impairments ranging from by-pass surgery, hepatitis, diabetes, sleep apnea, various types of cancers and others. Sy has been a guest speaker at the Financial Executives Institute as well as many other professional meetings and conferences. Sy also teaches continuing education classes on insurance, estate planning and retirement planning topics to CPAs and other professionals. He has received the Chartered Life Underwriter professional designation in the insurance industry from the American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Brooklyn College with a degree in Mathematics. Sy completed his education at St. John's University Graduate School. |

His articles have been published in "Pensions & Investments", “Options Newsletter”, “Credit Matters” and other publications. He has been retained by insurance companies such as New York Life, Pacific Life, AIG, Financial Guaranty Insurance Company, Nationwide Life, American Life of New York and others to consult on the design, development and distribution of insurance products. He has received the Chartered Life Underwriter as well as the Chartered Financial Consultant professional designations from the American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Mr. Snyder received his Bachelors Degree from Gannon University, Erie, Pennsylvania and his Masters Degree from the University of Santa Monica, California. |
